You’re terrible Muriel - but you’re fabulous mural!
We just love a vintage postcard style mural, so our eyes popped out of our heads with happiness when we spotted this one in Waikiki.
The Greetings from Waikiki mural was painted by artist Jeff Gress in 2018.
The mural features
A - Hawaiian coffee (the mural was commissioned by the Hawaii Coffee Company, so duh)
L - The Pink Palace herself, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel
O - surfing
H - the red crested cardinal
A - Waikiki lifesaving box
and its all set on a beautiful stretch of beach looking to Diamond Head.
It’s a Terry Tourist must see, but it’s on a busy street without parking, so plan your parking strategy ahead if you plan to jump out of your sporty rental car for a fabulous retro photo op.
