Bluesmobile on a Stick

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s the bluesmobile, complete with giant speaker tied to the roof, sitting at a zany angle, on top of a 25 foot tall pole

Located just a few miles south of Joliet, out the back of a gas station, this is a must see for fans of the movie “The Blues Brothers”, and Route 66 travelers alike.

The Bluesmobile shell (it has no fuel tank or engine, but that does not take away from its awesomeness) is a part of the Route 66 Food’n’Fun Travel Center, so you can make an emergency Dunkin’ Donuts stop on the way to see the Bluesmobile on a pole.
