The Donahoo’s Golden Chicken sign is kind of fabulous just by itself with its happy yellow background, and kooky mid-century font. But Donahoo’s went the extra mile and added a giant rooster to the top of their sign!
The giant rooster was made by International Fiberglass. We are big fans of those good people, as they specialized in making giant Muffler Men, the dinosaurs that stand outside Sinclair gas stations - and giant roosters!
The Donahoo's giant Rooster in Pomona is 8 feet tall, 3 feet wide, 5 1/2 feet long, and weighs 100 pounds.
And according to Yelp, apparently the chicken is delicious too
