The Prince reeks of old Hollywood glamour. It’s basement location, red banquettes, Tudor revival style, and vintage Bakelite doorbells at your booth to summon your waiter are to die.
and if you need 400 suits of armor - they have them.
The Prince has been used as a location in a million movies and Tv Shows from “Chinatown”, and “Woman in Red” to “Mad Men”, “Cold Case”, “Castle” and “New Girl”.
The Prince is located on the other side of the road to the sight of the former Ambassador Hotel, infamously know for being the location of Robert Kennedy’s assassination. On a happier note, The glorious cocoanut grove was also situated in the Ambassador Hotel.
We went for dinner ……and can recommend stopping in for a drink.
But without a doubt, everything except the food, drinks, and service was amazing.
